Busy with holiday prep. Assembling some flat car kits in my free time. Finally talking the undecorated Stewart FT A/B I bought years ago. I have the decals and the paint - better use them before they go bad. Just need to get a few detail pieces and then time to fire up the air brush...

Apparently the big block of text I typed here the first time didn't take so I'll type it all in again.
That should teach me to always copy things into notepad before I save or submit. Anyway, good feedback from linking the web page on Facebook. Plus I learned how to set up the SEO header to show the text and images I want on Facebook. Of course, I needed to figure out the image file names on here first (right click - properties). Also discovered that you can only add one image to one block of text, so just needed to break the big block of text into smaller ones. Making progress on the Pleasant Street houses - hopefully some new pics soon... So Gwen and I stopped by the Marlboro train show last Sunday. Pretty good as usual - lots of modular layouts. The usual vendors - tons of modern diesels, auto racks and high cube boxcars... not so much for a 1950's guy like me. One, ONE guy had paint - and only because he ran back and got some after the Saturday session. He had discontinued Polly Scale paint so I picked some up. That's the new theme of shows - grab the last products of all the companies that have gone out of business in the last few years because you'll never see that stuff again. Eventually there will just be one giant Atlas/Athearn/Walthers company selling $700 steam locomotives with mandatory DCC, sound and whatever new overpriced feature they come up with...
